A laid-back, young audience provided a warm vibe in the basement of the Slaughtered Lamb on a cold windy evening last night. A great lineup of up-and-coming popstars, mixed with a fun crowd of friends made the Student Music Network showcase unforgettable.
Unlike a typical showcase, each “future popstar” sat down for a chat in a quick interview conducted by Christian Sayers, before taking the stage to perform a brief, but impressionable set. The room was filled with family and friends of the artists, which made for a comfortable and supportive atmosphere. Although Siobhan Winifred was the main highlight for me, I’m glad I was there for the entire lineup, as I am now a fan of Martha Eve and Marti Perramon as well. I would 100% attend another Class of Tomorrow showcase!
