LIVE: Cowbell Practice #2 w/Human Interest @ The George Tavern

Itching to be out last night, I was searching for pubs to go to around 10pm. After checking listings at every local venue, I decided to go to The George Tavern. I’d heard good things about Human Interest (Tyler Damara Kelly & Cat Harrison), so I was excited to check them out. It was love at first listen for me, honestly. Their studio recordings on Spotify don’t do them any justice. Their stage presence and live sound are just insane. Not to mention, they even have a good band name.

Vocalist Cat Harrison was cracking jokes all night long. At the end of the show he reminded the audience to buy a t-shirt because none of the band members actually like music, they’re just in it for the money. For real though, he said if anyone wanted a t-shirt but couldn’t afford one, he’d sort them out.

The band announced they’d be releasing an EP in the next few months, containing a lot of the unreleased songs they played live.
